Gillian joined Wilcom in 1991 as Wilcom Europe’s first employee, and now with over 15 years uninterrupted service.
Gillian worked to establish a reseller and customer network and trained companies across extended Europe and North Africa, from Finland to Egypt.
Working with well known names such as Pringle and Rolls Royce, Gillian’s extensive experience and eye for quality and detail is a valuable asset as an embroidery trainer.
Gillian has a particular interest in promoting excellent embroidery design that is executed to the highest standards.
Gillian also promoted and forged links with education facility such as Dublin College of Art, Nottingham Trent University and London College of Fashion.
Education –
Diploma in Art & Design — Falmouth School of Art
BA Hons Degree in Textiles — specialist in Industrial Embroidery — Manchester Metropolitan University
Diploma in Management — Sheffield Hallam University
Gillian is also a member of the Manchester Metropolitan University Advisory Committee.
