Currently I’m combining Futura SOftware and Brother Pe-Design Software. I think, FUtura Software wasn’t too good for digitizing.

Finally, I could find a friend that use Futura. Hi, I’m from Indonesia and currently I’m using a Singer Futura CE-250. I run a small Scout Store here in Indonesia, and we often receives Name/Group Patches, so I use my Futura to deal with. I often face a problem with cutting the patches, the residue of the cut fabrics is a mess, I usually burn them. DO you have other techniques that might be works in cut the fabrics?

It is called Photo Stitch. I think that Singer sells that as an option for the CE-150. Not 100% sure though. Sorry it took so long to respond back. I didn’t see your message until now.

    Hey man. My …
Hey man. My borders aren’t too clean. I just cut the fabric as close as I can to the poly thread. I import the JPG and let my embroidery machine go to town. My hoops aren’t big enough to do rocker patches. Search YouTube with this. OcOlFSkGaWo It will pull up video with something that I have been thinking about using. The company name is Colman and Company. I would put the link in here, but YouTube doesn’t let me… Hope this helps man!

I’d also like to save it in PCB or the required format so I can just change the lettering on the inside. I have access to 2 brothers and 1 Husqvarna embroidering machines. any help would be greatly appreciated……

I enjoyed your video, keep posting. I have a singer futura ce-150. I saw where you changed the density on the outline of the patch making the outline thicker, can you tell me the exact name of your software because the one I have that came with the machine will not let me do what you did. I followed your steps but my software did not give me that system parameter. Thank you. thm71543

Yep. I have used photo stitch to create embroidery of tattoo flash off of the Internet. It works really well on tribal tattoos and other tattoos that don’t have a lot of detail to them…

I used a program called Corel Draw to make the design. I would say that there are other graphics programs that would also make the border.

    That was white …
That was white denim. I have tried denim and twill. Twill looks a little better, but it is kinda flimsy and tends to bunch up some. I used 2.5oz stabilizer and a needle for jeans. The twill may have worked better if I would have used 2 sheets of stabilizer… One thing that I will suggest on making patches… Use the same color or thread on your border that you are using on your fabric. It doesn’t look too much like a home made patch then…
