Sewing Projects and Such?

I’m bored and I want to do something artsy

I don’t have anything extravagant to do as art but I was thinking something more like sewing…

-sewing
-embroidery
-painting
-cross stiching
-drawing
-building -wood-paper-etc…
-beads

I was thinking of painting but I don’t know what to paint, I don’t know what to embroider, I have no beading ideas…I don’t know what to draw…I want to build something but don’t know what

you get the point?

could you help me out?

I don’t want to buy anything I just want something simple and easy to do!\

I don’t want to download patterns so could you get me a free pattern website?

and if you have any other art Idea’s i’m all "ears"

Thanks
I was thinking of something more artistic… something like patchwork embroidery or something….

Something that could embody a number of those suggestions would be personalizing tea towels (kitchen towels). You can generally get some nice sackcloth towels for cheap at craft stores.

From there, pick a theme from your kitchen, or a favorite thing for the person you will be giving this to (I’m working on one with monkeys for my pal!). You can either grab some iron-on patterns from the craft store as well (with towel and pattern you should be out less than $5 USD).

Either iron-on the design you want to use on the tea towel, or freehand draw a design in a washable pen or pencil onto the towel.

Use this as a guide for some fun embroidery stitches! Embellish with beads, or sew ruffles onto the edges, or embellish with rickrack or ribbon bows in fun places! It ends up looking very cute.

    Good Luck and Have Fun!
