It is a lot of fun …
It is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. Just make sure you keep moving in the same direction. If you rotate the needle the stitch will come out. Also make sure you are holding it the right direction. Have Fun! Thanks for watching!

Your hand is in the way all the time or you keep moving the work out of range of the camera. You need to pull the camera back or have someone operate it so we can always see what you’re doing… So frustrating!

    good video – …
good video – especially the pointing out that the front of the needle is the side that dips in – it seems to me that it’s backwards so I constantly have to remind myself.of this. I love punch needle – the threads you can use are amazing and the combinations of threads.

it may be that the flour sack is too coarsely woven to keep the threads in place – she might try a small piece of knit interfacing or lightweight woven interfacing on the back of the towel.

    I use weaver’s …
I use weaver’s cloth. I haven’t tried a hand towel, I’m not sure why it wouldn’t catch….I will have to give it a try and see if I can get it to work. You can purchase weaver’s cloth by the yard and it is much cheaper to do it that way than to buy those precut packages. If you have a Joann’s Fabric you can sign up for their flyer and get a coupon for 40%. I will give a few options a try this weekend and see if I can figure out why it won’t work and let you know!
