What is the best type of string to use to make friend ship bracelets?

Include a link to a picture so I can see what it looks like. I would also like a link to a free web sites with instructions on how to make friendship bracelets.

DMC embroidery floss is used to make braided bracelets. Wal Mart, Joann fabrics and any craft store will carry it. Your library should have how to books

The Association for the Improvement of Women’s Status in Lakia, Israel was the first Bedouin women’s organization. Among the projects run by the non-profit organization are youth leadership projects, educational projects, the Mobile Library which reaches over 1,500 children, and the Desert Embroidery Visitor Center and Store.
