I am needing a digitizer but they cost so much I’ll never be able to afford one. I’d like to get a good one where I could make my own embroidery designs.

Thanks

I need to download some free floral hand embroidery designs/patterns from the internet which could be used for bed sheets or quilts. Any ideas??

Just punch in free embroidery designs on the search engine, tons and tons will pull up. You might want to add in floral design along with it. 90% of sites offer them.
I hope this helps.

I’m going to do an embroidery for my niece, how’s this design?

September 7th, 2011 2 comments

I’m going to be doing a embroidery on my nieces pants (on the pocket) but I’m torn between this one:

http://www.singerco.com/library//Design/840_kittyLove.jpg

and this one:

http://www.singerco.com/library//Design/917_kitten_lg.jpg

Oh and in case it matters she’s six (and loves cats) and the pants I’ll be putting it on are black.

i would go with the 1st one for various reasons –
it will stand out more on the black background;
it’s simpler & quicker. remember, your niece is just 6 & will soon outgrow the pants.
it has greater kid-appeal.

i would, however, keep the 2nd pattern [just loved it!] for something more lasting, something she will not outgrow – may be a wrap, a scarf, a hug cushion, pillow cover, etc……

hope this helped
all the very best & have fun ;-))

How do you get started digitizing free standing lace for machine embroidery?

September 7th, 2011 1 comment

I have had no luck getting started, found plenty of free designs, but would love to be able to create my own. I am using PE Design for digitizing "normal" machine embroidery.

I don’t know but maybe someone on this forum could help you:

best of luck
